We import product catalogues into WooCommerce from CSV, Excel, XML or a supplier's data source. We map categories, prices, stock, images and variations, test a sample and agree which fields may be updated. For ongoing feeds, we assess a scheduled import or API connection.
The required work depends on the source structure and the fields you need. We distinguish between creating new products and updating an existing catalogue so the import follows the agreed rules.

Map source categories and attributes to the store's structure. Agree naming and hierarchy so repeated imports do not create inconsistent groups.
Import accessible images and connect sizes or colours to the correct parent product. Variations need their own identifiers and relevant prices and stock.
Where the supplier provides a suitable feed, we can assess regular price and stock updates. Scheduling, logs and failure handling are agreed separately.
We inspect a representative sample before choosing the import method. Missing identifiers, inconsistent categories or inaccessible images can require preparation even when the file is small.
We agree how to identify each product and which source controls each field. This helps preserve your own descriptions, category choices and other manually edited content.
Choose a one-off transfer for a new catalogue, selected-field updates for existing products or a scheduled supplier feed. We agree the workflow before configuring the import.
For products stored in a spreadsheet or another shop system. We check what the export contains and map it to WooCommerce before transferring the catalogue.
For a catalogue already in the store. Match incoming records to existing products and update only agreed fields, such as price, availability or stock quantity.
For a supplier providing a stable CSV, XML or API source. We assess update frequency, data ownership and what should happen if the feed fails or a product disappears.
